Ricky Ponting: Best Captain of the Australian Cricket Team

Ricky Thomas Ponting AO (born December 19, 1974) is an Australian cricket coach, commentator and former cricketer.

He is considered one of the most successful captains in the history of international cricket, with 220 wins in 324 matches and a 67.91% success rate. Ponting was the captain of the Australian national team in its ‘golden age’;
